LEAD -- In the race for the discovery of dark matter, there is no prize for finishing second. That’s why investigators associated with the LUX dark matter detection project are going big and deep into the Sanford Lab in Lead in hopes they can capture the theoretical particles ahead of competitors in Italy, Japan and elsewhere. |
